Rose pink and teal mountains rise from softly frosted glass in this handmade liuli tea set for two. Fine gold-coloured lines trace the ridges across the gaiwan, jug and teacups. Small Chinese characters sit above the peaks on the gaiwan and jug.

For gongfu tea brewing, steep loose leaf tea in the gaiwan and pour the whole infusion into the fairness jug (gong dao bei). Serve from the jug so both cups get tea of the same strength. Try it with oolong or pu-erh to see how the flavour changes with each infusion.
