2013 Ripe Pu-erh Tea, also known as aged Shu Pu’er, is a Chinese fermented loose leaf tea with a deep, smooth and mellow character. Made in the ripe pu-erh style, this tea has had time to develop a rich earthy aroma, rounded body and naturally warming finish.
Unlike raw pu’er, ripe pu-erh is processed through controlled fermentation, giving it a darker colour and softer, fuller taste. This 25g packet is ideal for enjoying over several tea sessions. Brew with hot water to bring out its smooth texture, earthy depth and gentle natural sweetness.
