Expressing Emotions Through Art - 1:1 Kids Session
Gentle Developmental Support
A safe, creative space for children to explore emotions with their hands.
In this hands-on, child-centred drawing & clay play session, children explore touch, movement, and form. Clay becomes a medium for self-expression, grounding, and emotional release. Using Guided Drawing and Clay Field methods, based on the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy (ISAT) , this session supports non-verbal expression, emotional regulation, sensory development, and body awareness in a nurturing, non-judgmental environment.
This approach is especially helpful for children experiencing emotional tension, communication challenges, increased restlessness, or developmental delays.
What this session offers:
-
Emotional release & self-regulation: Clay’s texture helps children feel safe and express feelings without words.
-
Fine motor development & sensory integration: Strengthens hand muscles, coordination, and foundational skills like writing.
-
Free play & self-led discovery: Children explore at their own pace with gentle facilitator support.

This is a supportive space for growth, not therapy. It provides emotional exploration and developmental support, but is not a clinical intervention.
